Getting Set Up<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We will use the WSU Virtual Desktop software called VDI<\/span>
\na) MIS325 – will run Visual Studio.NET to create webpages using Visual Basic.NET (focusing on the ASP.NET and ADO.NET content)
\n(this is the main resource for MIS 325)
\n<\/span>
\nb) MIS 325 and MIS420 run SQL Server Management Studio to create database tables and manage data using the programming language SQL (this is the main resource for MIS420)
\n<\/span>
\nc) run Tableau, Excel and PowerBI to create data visualizations (reports and dashboards) that pull data from SSMS databases
\n(Both MIS325 and MIS420 use these programs at times)<\/span><\/p>\n

To gain access to the VDI we need to install the VDI software to do that follow the link below (this is a 1-time deal)<\/span><\/p>\n
